Chances are your screen is a standard size, so you can purchase the replacement mesh from your local hardware store, along with installation instructions.
Painting. Painting a room doesn’t have to be a messy job, provided you have the right tools. Before you begin, get samples of paint colors you like and paint a test strip on the wall. Paint colors look different in different lighting, and you want to make sure that you’ve selected the perfect color for your space. Once you’ve decided on the color and checked your tool kit, begin by prepping the walls. If you can, remove any fixtures (including outlet covers) or hardware. Clean your walls with a damp cloth, and spackle any holes. Give yourself enough time to be able to do a thorough job. Remember, the size of your room will determine how much time it will take to paint it.
Checking your doors. Just like everything else in your home, doors need maintenance. You can easily take care of squeaking hinges with some lubricants. Loose doorknobs are easily fixable too. More often than not, all they need is a little tightening of the screws, but just in case you need a little more reinforcement, your local hardware store can provide you with special adhesives and other binding agents to keep those loose screws in place.
